Oil companies hiked

Oil companies hiked cooking gas prices again because of the higher contract price for liquefiedpetroleum gas (LPG) abroad, although world oil prices plummeted toward $62 a barrel in Asiantrade on Wednesday. In separate announcements, Petron Corp., Pilipinas ShellPetroleum Corp. and Total Philippines Corp. said they would increase their LPG prices by P1.40 a kilogram also on Wednesday.
